Hey everyone,
Been a while since I updated my journal. Just wanted to thank everyone for their continued support of my artwork. A special "thanks" goes out to my dA friend Karen for posting a very nice journal entry for my latest Star Wars piece, "Heroes of the Rebellion: Leia". Thanks for the spotlight! I've really grown to appreciate the community on dA and I'm continually amazed at the cool artists I keep meeting. While business is slow I've decided to start work on a series of commemorative movie homages. First up is Ridley Scott's LEGEND. The movie's 25th anniversary is coming up next year. This piece will be much more complex than my recent series of solo portraits/figures. Now that I feel a sense of accomplishment in my work again I've decided to kick it up a notch and go a little more detailed with my artwork. I've posted the final sketch in my gallery's WIPS folder. Hope you all like. If this poster is successful I plan to follow up with ALIENS and FLASH GORDON. So stay tuned. If anyone is interested in commissioning me to pencil or paint a fave movie scene or character or wants a nice personal portrait done please feel free to drop me a note.
