ARTIST COMMENT:
IT'S COMPLETE!
This piece is dedicated to a fellow dA'r and friend, Karen Hinson. Karen was one of the first people I got to know when I joined up here & we immediately hit it off over our mutual love for Princess Leia. If you're a Star Wars fan I'm sure you've come across her work here on dA. If you haven't, you really need to get over and view her work. Even if you don't like Star Wars you can appreciate her pencil portrait prowess.

Oooh looking awesome so far.
Thanks, I may be doing another mini update tomorrow. There's something about Padme lipless that's terrifying.....
It's looking amazing so far. Really great work on the composition! I can't wait to see the rest of this :D
Thanks Gabe. Although it may be "Coruscant at Sunset". I might need to retitle the piece.... You'll have to let me know how those copic markers are working for you. They seem to be a popular medium of late!
Whichever title you choose, I'm sure the end result will be amazing! Just curious, do you use airbrushed or watered down acrylics?
They are popular these days, I enjoy using them. Interesting how they lighten as they dry. I'd like to get a wider variety of colours -- too bad they cost a pretty penny here ;)
A little of both and a pinch of watercolor. Was there a particular question you had about my technique? You know I'm happy to discuss. About those copic markers, I think there just EXPENSIVE period. I looked online at their webpage and almost fell out of my chair. What paper do you use with them? It's a pity they make some of these art supplies so pricey. It's definitely an investment, and you go in not knowing if you like them in the end...I might have to live vicariously through you and see what your feelings are. Talk to ya later!
This looks pretty excellent so far! Looking forward to more. :D

It may not be finished yet, but so far it only shows your mastery in composition and line, I'm looking forward to see the end result!

Thank you very much, my friend!
It's the "Floating Padme" head gotta put a neck on her quick. Thanks for the comments. Gotta keep on truckin'...
